Getting started
What is Traderseg?
Traderseg puts the whole market in one place. Stocks, bonds, currencies, commodities and crypto are read the same way every day, next to the tools you need to act on them: readiness checks, position sizing, a trade journal and a room of traders running the same routine.
It shows you where the market is. It never tells you what to buy.
I'm new. Where should I start?
Open the Market Brief to see what kind of day it is. Then run a setup through the Trade Readiness Checklist and size it with the Risk Management Tools. All three are free.
When you want a record of every trade you take, the Journal is the first member tool to try.
Is any of this financial advice?
No. Traderseg is not a registered investment adviser. Everything on the site is education and research, you make your own decisions, and a pattern that held in the past can fail the next time.
Which markets does Traderseg cover?
US-listed stocks and ETFs, the major currency pairs, interest rates and bonds, the main commodity futures, and the largest crypto assets. Each tool says which markets it reads.
Plans and billing
What plans are there, and what do they cost?
Free gives you a set of everyday tools with no card needed.
Membership is $15 a month or $153 a year: the full trading workspace, including the journal, assessments, simulator with prop-firm rule sets, research tools and member chat, plus a weekly sample review from Traderseg Coaching (trained AI).
Premium is $67 a month or $579 a year: everything in Membership, plus full Traderseg Coaching (a review every day and three questions a day), the full Receipts and the premium research tools.
While founding spots last, the first 50 members on any plan lock in Membership at $8 a month or Premium at $33 a month for as long as they stay subscribed; the price is applied automatically at checkout. Every plan comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee.
How does yearly billing work?
Yearly Membership costs 15% less, and yearly Premium 28% less, than twelve monthly payments and is charged once, up front, for the whole year. Monthly plans renew each month until you cancel.
Can I move from Membership to Premium?
Yes, whenever you like. Go to the Premium page and choose monthly or yearly. If anything on your bill looks wrong after switching, email support@traderseg.com.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Canceling stops every future charge, and your access stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If you cannot find the option, email support@traderseg.com and we will cancel it for you.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Every plan, monthly or yearly, has a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment: email us within 14 days and we refund it in full, no questions asked. After 14 days, canceling stops the next charge and your access runs to the end of the period you paid for.
How is payment handled?
Checkout runs through Shopify, so Traderseg never sees or stores your card number. All prices are in US dollars.
Free tools
What is the Market Brief?
One screen that tells you what kind of day it is: live charts, the economic calendar, headlines, a risk appetite gauge and a positioning read built from the COT report. Start the day here before you open anything else.
It is situational awareness, not a signal. Embedded quotes can run slightly behind, and the calendar tells you when an event lands, not which way price goes.
What is the Trade Readiness Checklist?
It grades a setup against your own criteria before you risk anything on it. The free version runs the core checks. Members also get every run saved, plus the mid-trade review that asks the same questions again while the position is live.
What are the Risk Management Tools?
Calculators for how much to risk: position sizing, the Kelly criterion from your win rate and reward-to-risk, and the drawdown maths behind prop-firm rules.
If Kelly returns zero, you have no measured edge and the answer is to not take the trade. Most traders use a fraction of full Kelly, and honest inputs matter more than the formula.
What is the Currency / FX Regime page?
A plain read on the major currency pairs and the interest rates behind them, with the date each read last changed and how price has moved since.
What is the Rates & Credit Radar?
Interest rates and credit conditions on one page, so you can see whether borrowing is getting easier or harder before it shows up in stocks.
What is the Heatmap?
The whole stock market on one screen, sized by company value and coloured by today's move, so you can see which sectors money is moving into and out of. It is a snapshot of today, not a trend, and the biggest companies dominate the picture.
Member tools
What does the Trading Journal do?
Every entry, exit, screenshot and note lives in one searchable record, with profit and loss tracked per trade and per account. You can import a CSV straight from your platform instead of retyping the year, and Journal Stats turns the record into win rate, expectancy and the patterns behind your results.
What are the Trade Readiness Checklist and Mid-Trade Review?
Structured reviews that ask the same questions every time: before you enter, and again while the position is live. They remember what you answered, so you can compare how you felt going in with what you did.
What is the Trading Simulator?
Practice without risking money. Replay historical price bars, place and close trades, and watch your session stats build. A profit factor above 1 and positive expectancy mean the approach made money over the session.
It cannot reproduce slippage, real fills or the pressure of live money, so treat it as a place to learn the mechanics.
What is Stock Research?
A deep dive on any US-listed stock built from its SEC filings: the business profile, financials, dividends, recent events, insider buying and selling, and which large funds hold it.
Filings lag, so check the date on each section. "Share of portfolio" means how much of that fund the position takes up, not how much of the company the fund owns.
What is the COT Report?
Weekly positioning from the CFTC's Commitments of Traders report: where large speculators and commercial hedgers are leaning across the main futures markets, and when that positioning reaches an extreme.
The data is as of Tuesday and published the following Friday, later in holiday weeks. It shows who is leaning, not when the turn comes.
What is ETF Intelligence?
A curated set of ETFs, each explained by what drives it, with a read on how well it fits current market conditions. Use it to understand what a fund actually holds you exposed to before you buy it.
What is the Trading Concepts Lab?
A library of trading concepts, grouped by category and explained in plain language, each one linked to a drill you can practise in the Trading Simulator.
What is Member Chat?
A live chat room for Traderseg members, for talking through setups, sharing what you are watching and comparing notes with traders running the same routine.
What is the floating dock?
The row of icons members see at the edge of every page. Tapping one opens that tool in a window over the page you are on, so you can check something without losing your place. The window has its own light and dark switch and can be minimised or opened full size.
Premium tools
What is Traderseg Coaching (trained AI)?
It reviews your own journal and pre-trade checklists and gives you a straight answer when you ask it something. It only ever sees your own journal, served to your signed-in account, and it coaches your process rather than telling you what to trade.
Membership gets a weekly sample: one review a week, which you start whenever suits you. Premium gets full coaching: a fresh review every day and three questions a day.
What are The Receipts?
Every Traderseg reading is logged before the outcome is known and then scored as Matched or Not matched, so you can judge the readings by their record. A condition only appears if it went the same way at least two times in three over at least ten past occurrences.
The Receipts is a Premium tool. Membership sees one real condition with its full history; free visitors see an illustrated example with made-up numbers. Premium sees everything: the full scored record, every live reading the day it is logged, conditions coming up in the next 45 days, and an email the day a reading is logged.
What is Smart Money?
What large funds and well-known investors actually own, tracked quarter over quarter from their SEC filings, so buying and selling shows as a direction rather than a snapshot. You can follow a fund and get an email when its holdings change.
Quarterly 13F filings arrive up to 45 days after the quarter ends, so positions can be weeks old. Filings for stakes above 5% arrive much sooner.
What is Seasonality?
The path a market has tended to take through the calendar year, month by month: the average move and how often each month finished higher.
Averages hide big single years, and a strong tendency can still fail in any given year. Treat it as context, not a signal on its own.
What is Macro Insight and Global Catalysts?
The big-picture backdrop in one place: growth, inflation, rates and liquidity, plus a board of upcoming and recent catalysts that flags only the moves large enough to matter.
What is the Correlations page?
Which markets move together and which move opposite, so you can see when two positions are really one bet, or when one can hedge the other.
Correlation is not cause, and it drifts. A relationship that held for a year can break in a week.
What is the Article Exposure Map?
Paste a market, business or policy article, or open one from the Market Brief news list on a desktop. It maps who the article's facts help and who they hurt, directly and one step removed, matches each name to a market Traderseg tracks, and shows how far that price has already moved since the article was written.
It shows exposure, never a buy or sell recommendation, and every read says what would have to be true for it to be wrong.
Data and accuracy
How current is the data?
Each tool shows the date or age of what it is showing. Most market data updates through the day, but some sources are slow by nature: the COT report is weekly, fund holdings are quarterly, and company filings arrive when companies file them.
If something looks older than it should, email support@traderseg.com and tell us the page.
Where does the data come from?
Public primary sources wherever possible: the SEC for company and fund filings, the CFTC for futures positioning, the Federal Reserve for rates and economic series, an independent crypto price reference for crypto prices, and a third-party charting provider for live charts. Credits for third-party providers are on our Data Sources & Credits page.
A panel says data is missing or not checked. Is it broken?
Usually not. Traderseg shows what it does not know instead of guessing, so "not checked" means not checked, not clean, and a blank figure comes with the reason underneath. If a panel stays empty for a day or more, email support@traderseg.com.
